Podcasting

While i can view podcasting as an advantage in some cases, i find it more annoying then anything. Being more of a visual learner, i prefer to sit in on a conversation/lecture rather then listen to it. When i do this i find myself more lost then anything. While there is video podcasts(which i prefer of the types) I still do not find myself watching them. In general i do not gravitate toward podcasting. But in all reality it is a growing phase esp. in the school system. University’s use podcasts for lecture use and news within the school, but they are not the only ones. Middle schools and elementary schools are now starting to use podcasts. They look at this as a tool to better education in the younger generation.
